Channel intro
Welcome back to the channel. Pour yourself something warm, get comfortable, and turn the volume up a little. Tonight we're going deep, and you're going to want to hear every word.

Works well with the preset voice and the Deep effect on.

Podcast opener
You're listening to The Long Way Home, the show about people who changed course halfway through life. I'm your host, Sam. Get comfortable. Let's begin.
Late-night radio
It's just past midnight. The city is quiet, the coffee is still warm, and you're tuned in to the night shift. Stay a while. The next song is for anyone who's still awake.
Game boss intro
So, you made it to the top of the tower. Many have tried. All of them are still down there, in the dark. Draw your sword, traveler. This ends tonight.

Try the gravelly voice, Algenib, with Delivery set to Slower.

Deep voicemail
You've reached Marcus. I can't pick up right now, but leave your name, your number and a quick message, and I'll get back to you soon. Have a good one.
Sleep and meditation
Let your shoulders drop. Breathe in slowly through your nose... and let it go. With every breath out, your body feels a little heavier, a little calmer, and a little closer to sleep.

Set Delivery to Whisper or Slower for a softer read.

How it works

How to make deep voice text to speech

Three steps from script to download. Sign in first: the generator uses credits, and new accounts can try it once for free.

  1. Step 1

    Type or paste your script

Write a few short sentences or pick a script above. Short lines and plenty of commas give a deep voice room to breathe. The counter under the text box shows billable characters and the credit cost as you type.

  2. Step 2

Choose a voice and a delivery

The preset uses Alnilam, a firm male voice, with a slow, resonant late-night style. Keep it, or switch to any of the 30 voices, then pick a delivery: As preset, Calm, Excited, Whisper or Slower.

  3. Step 3

    Generate, tweak the effect, download

Press Generate. The clip is usually ready in 10 to 30 seconds and plays with the Deep effect already on. Switch to Original, or try Radio or Cave echo, then download the WAV file.

Effects run in your browser after the AI clip is made, so switching between them never uses extra credits. The Deep effect lowers the pitch a few semitones and adds warmth in the bass.

Highlights

What you get with the deep voice generator

A low voice alone can sound muddy. The preset is tuned for depth, pace and clarity together.

A deep voice that takes its time

The preset asks for more than low pitch: slow, resonant and relaxed, like a radio host after midnight. That pacing is what makes a deep voice sound confident instead of rushed, and it suits intros, narration, ads and calm explainers.

Make it even deeper in your browser

Every clip comes back with the Deep effect switched on: a few semitones lower, with extra warmth in the low end. Prefer the natural voice? Pick Original. Radio and Cave echo are one click away, and because effects run on your device, trying them costs nothing.

Thirty voices, five deliveries

Not every deep voice sounds the same. Swap the preset for a gravelly, smooth or breathy voice, or a mature female voice, and set the delivery to Calm, Excited, Whisper or Slower. Your script stays in place, so comparing takes is quick.

Download it and use it anywhere

Download a WAV file that drops straight into video editors, podcast tools and phone systems. Clips also appear under My voices in your account, so you can play or download them again later. Every voice is an original AI voice, never a clone of a real person.

How to write a script for a deep voice

A deep voice works best with words that leave space. Long, breathless sentences push any voice to speed up, and speed is what takes the weight out of a low voice. Write the way a radio host talks: short sentences, one idea each, and a period wherever you want the voice to land. Read your script out loud once. If you run out of breath, split the sentence.

Punctuation is your pacing control. Commas add a short pause, periods a longer one, and an ellipsis (...) gives you the slow, held beat that intros and trailers love. For a full stop before a big line, you can type the tag <long pause>. Each tag counts as 20 billable characters, so save it for the moment that matters.

  • Lead with the hook: put the line you want remembered in the first few seconds. Listeners decide fast whether to keep listening.
  • Watch abbreviations and names: write "five p.m." instead of "5pm" and spell unusual names the way they sound if the first take trips over them.
  • Keep it short: about 300 characters of English is roughly 20 to 25 seconds at a slow pace, which is plenty for an intro, a bumper or a voicemail.
  • Generate two takes: As preset and Slower can sound surprisingly different. Make both and keep the one that fits your video.

Deep voice or bass voice generator?

People who search for a bass voice generator usually want one of two things: a very low speaking voice for a video, or a bass singer. This tool does the first. It reads your text in a deep speaking voice. It doesn't sing, so it won't perform the bass line in a song.

In music, bass is the lowest male voice type, singing roughly from E2 to E4, or 82 to 330 Hz. Speaking voices sit at the low end of that picture: adult men usually talk at about 85 to 155 Hz, and the voices people call deep sit near the bottom of that band. The preset aims for that low, resonant zone, and the Deep effect pushes it a few semitones further.

Curious where your own voice lands? The free deep voice test measures your speaking pitch in Hz, and the deep voice changer lowers a recording of your real voice right in the browser, with no credits needed. Want the full cinematic treatment instead? The movie trailer voice generator adds dramatic pauses, and every other style is in the AI voice generators hub.

Still have a question?

The quickest way to find out is to try it yourself. It only takes a minute.

A deep voice generator is an AI text-to-speech tool that reads your script in a low, resonant voice. You type the text, pick a voice and a delivery, and get a downloadable audio clip, usually in 10 to 30 seconds. This one starts from a slow, late-night radio style and adds a Deep effect in your browser that you can switch off.
