Dear {name}, thank you for your wonderful letter! I read every word by the fire with a mug of cocoa. I loved hearing about your new puppy and how hard you've been practicing your reading. Keep being curious and kind. Your friend, Santa.

How it works

How to use the Santa voice generator

About a minute from a blank box to a finished Santa clip. You'll need to sign in, and new accounts can try it once for free.

  1. Step 1

Write or pick what Santa says

Type your own lines or press Use this on any script above. Keep it under 300 characters, roughly 20 seconds of speech, and put {name} wherever Santa should say a child's name.

  2. Step 2

Add a name and choose the delivery

Type the name in the Name box. Santa's voice is already selected, so most people only change the delivery: Calm for bedtime, Excited for parties, Slower for toddlers. Prefer a different Santa? Pick another male voice from the menu.

  3. Step 3

    Generate, listen and download

Press Generate. Clips are usually ready in 10 to 30 seconds and start playing on their own. Download the WAV file now or find it later in My voices. If a generation fails, your credits go back automatically.

Quick reference

One Santa script, five ways to say it

The Delivery chips under the script box change how Santa performs the same words. Use this as a cheat sheet for matching Santa to the moment.

Highlights

Santa text to speech with real personality

This isn't a generic voice reading your words in a Santa hat. It starts from a Santa character and lets you steer it.

Santa voice generator: two children whispering to Santa Claus beside a Christmas tree

A jolly Santa voice from the first try

The Santa preset tells the AI to sound jolly, warm and grandfatherly, unhurried, with a hearty laugh. You get a Santa performance instead of a newsreader, so even a quick first draft sounds right on Christmas morning.

A child's name, said naturally

Type a name once and Santa says it everywhere the script has {name}, as often as you like. Leave the box empty and he says "friend" instead. If a name comes out wrong, spell it the way it sounds and generate again.

Effects and voices to play with

Once a clip is ready, try the free browser effects: Radio for a crackly call from the North Pole, Cave echo for a big workshop sound, or Deep for an even lower Santa. Switch back to Original any time without spending more credits.

Original, private and yours to use

The Santa voice is an original AI character, not a copy of any actor or film Santa. Your clips are saved privately to your account. Paid users can use them commercially, while clips made with free trial credits are for personal use.

How to write a Santa script that sounds real

A Santa voice works best when the script sounds like Santa talking, not Santa reading a list. Start with a greeting and a laugh, say who he's talking to, mention one specific thing, and end with a warm sign-off. Ten to twenty seconds of speech, about 30 to 50 words, is usually more charming than a full minute.

Write the way people speak. Contractions like I'm, you've and it's sound friendlier than formal phrasing, and short sentences give Santa room to breathe. Punctuation is your direction: commas add a small pause, periods a full stop, an ellipsis a thoughtful beat, and exclamation marks lift the energy. Spell the laugh out as "Ho ho ho!" instead of describing it.

Keep feelings specific and promises vague. Santa can say he's proud of how a child helped a little brother or kept going at swimming lessons without naming any particular present, which keeps Christmas morning surprise-proof. For messages built around a child's name, good deeds and wishes, see the personalized Santa message page.

  • Greeting: "Ho ho ho! Hello, {name}!" puts Santa in the room within a second.
  • One real detail: a good deed, a new skill or a pet's name. It's what makes a message feel personal.
  • Encouragement: one thing to keep doing next year, such as being kind or helping at home.
  • Sign-off: "Merry Christmas!" or "See you soon!" so the clip ends cleanly.
  • Pronunciation: spell tricky names the way they sound and write numbers as words ("ten more sleeps").

Where to use your Santa clip

The download is a standard WAV file, so it plays on phones, laptops and smart speakers and drops into any video editor. Families play it on Christmas morning from a phone tucked under the tree, send it to grandparents in the family chat, or add it to a holiday slideshow. If a messaging app won't take the file, put the clip in a short video and send that.

Creators use Santa in short-video intros, holiday ads for local shops, stream alerts and Christmas podcast episodes. If the clip is for a business or a monetized channel, generate it with a paid plan or credit pack, because free trial clips are licensed for personal use only. Label it as AI-generated wherever the platform or the law asks you to.

Teachers and hosts use short Santa lines for classroom countdowns, school concerts, office parties and charity events. In a big room, the Excited delivery and short sentences carry best. Need a sidekick? A Christmas elf voice makes a squeaky, fast-talking partner for Santa.
